Renovation of a museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.

Upgrade Audio/Video Theatre System in the NM Military Museum The intent of this project is create a modern, usable, theatre space where the museum can show films, host speakers, and so on. In order to achieve this, the museum will need NM Licensed contractors to provide a turnkey audio-visual system and stage curtains for a performing arts theatre located inside the New Mexico Military Museum. a. Lighting: o Contractor will utilize existing lighting and set up for control using existing Chauvet ChamSys control board. o Contractor will set up the sound booth for maximum efficiency to use as a hub for the control of lighting, sound, and projection. i. This includes any necessary construction, furniture, flooring, and sound dampeners. b. Sound: o Contractor will install a left and right array with supplemental subwoofers. The sound system shall be designed utilizing audio prediction software. i. Sound prediction models should ensure a maximum of 3db variance from front row to the last row and from left to right. o Contractor shall provide a sound system that meets a speech intelligibility standard or STI factor of no less than .85. This shall be indicated with the contractor's prediction software. Software models shall be provided at time of bid. i. Proposals without sound prediction models will not be considered. o Along with the sound system, the museum will require a small floor box with audio and video connections supplied for a lectern. A digital stage snake will be required along with a digital console. o Contractor shall provide four (4) digital wireless microphone systems: two (2) handheld / two (2) lapel. o All required antenna distribution, antennas, etc. will be provided by the Contractor. o A lockable equipment rack shall be provided and installed by the Contractor. o All required network cabling, audio cabling, and speaker cabling will be provided by the Contractor. c. Video: o Contractor will install an electric tensioned projection screen (110"x176"), 20,000hr 9000 lumens laser projector, and video end points. o A VGA and HDMI input panel shall be installed in the stage floor box as previously mentioned and a second input panel should be provided in the control booth. i. A video source receiver will be installed at the video projector location. ii. A simplified control panel is required to allow the control of the video input location, screen controls, and projector functions. o All costs, including the electrical components and connections for the projector and screen must be included in the proposal. o Audio from video system shall input audio to the mixing system via a digital network platform (e.g. Dante). d. Curtains: o Contractor shall include, as part of their proposal, a new stage curtain solution as an add-on, removable, option. i. The curtains shall include a back wall curtain and mid stage curtain - each devisable by two sections minimum. ii. Contractor shall also include two side curtains (stage left, stage right) to help hide off stage activity. iii. A small valance may be included but only IF it will NOT disturb lighting/screen visibility and usage. iv. Curtains shall be black non-reflective. 1. Other color choices/fabrics may be offered. Final choice to be made by PM. v. Proposal shall include complete turnkey installation. e. Quality Control: o Contractor shall have on staff a minimum of two certified Q-SYS Level 2 technicians. o Contractor shall have at least one (1) certified Chauvet technician onsite during times of system installation, programming, commissioning, and training (using existing and newly installed technology). o Contractor should have a NICET Level 2 Communications system designer on staff at all times Question Submission Close Date 12/28/2021 2:00 PM MST
