Site work and new construction of a civil project in Tucson, Arizona. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of January 17, 2022 the project has been cancelled and will be re-advertised in a future date.** The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is soliciting bids to construct the Tortuga Ranch Water Line, to be located at 3300 W. Marstellar Road, Tucson, AZ 857. The scope of work includes the Install 2-1/2" DR 11 or PVC waterline, with tracer wire, extending 14,800 feet, including excavation/trenching to provides specified depth to top of waterline to be greater than 18" with backfill, compaction and pressure testing, to extend from newly built pump house specified by plans to avoid any protected areas and to come back to surface by proposed water tank area at ranch site. Includes two areas for the line to be brought back to surface for stub outs to facilitate undisturbed native soil with a shielded compacted dirt mound from UV and light traffic. Per USDA Plans. Native American and local firms will receive preference. The Owner reserves the right to select the most responsive and responsible bidder. RFI to be received by December 21, 2021, to be answered by December 27, 2021 All bid questions and Requests for Information should be directed to the Project Manager via email. Each bid shall be made out on Exhibit B or C, which shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Such check or bid bond will be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract to perform the work if awarded to him and shall be declared forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful Bidder refuses to enter into the said Contract after being requested to do so by the Owner. Such check of bid bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful Bidders upon the Award of the Contract to the successful Bidder, and will be returned to the successful Bidder upon the execution and delivery of satisfactory surety company bonds and construction contract. Bidders will submit, with the sealed bid, three (3) previous client construction work references, with a contact person. Each reference shall be complete with current address and contact phone numbers. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive/responsible Bidder whose bid does not exceed the amount of funds estimated by the Owner to be available for construction of the project, including any applicable Indian Preference requirements. Only Bids meeting all of the bid requirements included herein shall be considered for award. In the event that the lowest bidder is not awarded a Contract, the dissenting Contractor has 48 hours in which to file a written complaint. The Pascua Yaqui Tribe reserves the right to reject any and all bids, whether within the applicable cost limits and estimated total contract price or not, and to waive any informality in the bids received whenever such rejection is in the interest of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. Competition in this Bid solicitation will be open to all qualified bidders. However, if a bid is received from a qualified responsive/responsible Indian Organization or Indian Owned Economic Enterprise and such bid is within the "X" factor scale of the bid of the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, the Contract will be awarded to the Indian Organization or Indian Owned Economic Enterprise. BID AMOUNT PERCENTAGE $0 to $10,000 6% $10,001.00 to $250,000.00 4% Over $250,000.00: 2% Award of this Contract is subject to a determination by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe that the contractor is eligible to contract for federally funded activities. The Contract time allotted for this project is 180 days.
