Franklin-McKinley School District(District) is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to submit proposals to provide Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. All questions related to the RFP shall be made submitted via email to bids@fmsd.org by January 3, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. (PST). Phone calls will not be accepted. The scope of work includes furnishing all equipment and materials of twelve (12) Electronic Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations for the District's Electric Bus fleet at the Transportation Yard located at 400 Tully Rd., San Jose, CA. Specifications include Level 2 charging station, single phase power, minimum one charger per pedestal, 80 amp continuous power,100 amp breaker, and a 10ft. to 20ft. cable. Proposer will supply all physical devices, chargers, hardware, etc. and any necessary equipment for installation by District approved contractor. The District will install the chargers per separate contracted project to upgrade Electrical Infrastructure. The District is requiring the vendor to provide the telematics software to be included in the proposal, a construction administrator to oversee the installation of all equipment, warranty, LCFS management, and yearly ongoing maintenance and training. The equipment selected must be able to adapt to Vehicle to Grid (V2G) technology.
