Bids on these projects will only be accepted from those General Contractors that are prequalified by the Owner. No other General Contractors will be eligible to bid on these projects. Final Design Document Available to Contractors January 7, 2021 Receipt of Bids January 21, 2022 Award of Contract(s) February 8, 2022 Asphalt work April 15 - October 15, 2022 Construction of Zone DE Water Pipeline Within 3 months of commencing The Work of this Contract includes constructing 1,500 feet of 20-inch ductile iron pipe from 5992 S U111 to 6200 South U111, and 1,000 feet of 18-inch ductile iron pipe from 6485 S U111 to 6600 S U111. Work will be completed in the UDOT right-of-way, but will primarily be constructed in the shoulder or undeveloped UDOT right-of-way on the west side of U111. A jack and bore will be included across U111 at 6600 S to construct 100 feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe. The project site is located in unincorporated Salt Lake County and West Valley City along U111 between approximately 5992 South and 6600 South. The preliminary budget estimate for work is estimated to be approximately $1 million.
