The Madison County Nursing Home Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The project consists of constructing a new park and walking trail adjacent to the exiting Madison County Nursing Home Facility. The park site was the former home of the Madison County General Hospital that was demolished in 2019. The design bid build park improvements shall include the following: grading and drainage improvements, concrete walking trails and aggregate patio space, concrete steps and railing, parking lot improvements, a steel shade structure, a vehicular access gate, security fencing, site lighting, installation of site furnishings, landscaping, and irrigation. The design build scope of the project will include the design and construction of two restroom facilities. Design intent drawings are included in the bid document set, but the contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all = structural related documentation required for permitting including any required soil testing. The construction plans, bid package, bid instructions, specifications, addendum to general specifications, project manual and construction drawings for this project are on file and open for public inspection at the Administrator's Office at the Madison County Nursing Home, 1421-A East Peace Street, Canton, Mississippi 39046. A bid bond will be required in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount and in a form and from an insurer acceptable to Madison County Nursing Home. Substantial Completion - 150 calendar days, Final Completion - 180 calendar days
