Renovation of an educational facility in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Northern Kentucky University seeks to upgrade and install security cameras in its residence halls throughout campus to enhance our overall security footprint. Please note that Callahan Hall is currently being renovated and NKU would like for the installation in this building to be coordinated with that construction. There are three parts to this project. Vendors may bid on one, two or all three parts: NKU will make the best choice for the university. This might mean one company, two companies or three companies. 1. Provide data cabling installation, termination, testing and labeling for 194 cameras, various lengths. Bidders for this work must be certified for Ortronics/General Cable installs. 2. Provide 194 Exaqvision Enterprise licenses. 3. Provide 194 cameras as specified in Section 4.0. NKU is willing to consider cameras from a different manufacturer which are in NKU's sole discretion equivalent to the Tyco Illustra or Hanwa camera models specified in section 4.0. Additionally, where applicable, two lens cameras may be used to reduce the amount of cabling work required.
