Provide Supply and Install Specialty Electronic Door Hardware at Law Enforcement Center and Service Center East. The County may reject any quote not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all quotes upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Washington County reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. Respondents are solely responsible for ensuring receipt of their quote by the Procurement Division. Respondents must conform to the requirements of these quote documents and all related, applicable laws. The County does not intend to pre-qualify any respondents for this project. All quotes submitted for this project will be considered provided that they meet the criteria set forth in the quote documents with respect to submission in a timely manner, bonding, and all other applicable requirements. Scope of work: A. Contractor to supply and install specialty electronic door hardware for 2 doors (one each) in the Law Enforcement Center and Service Center East. The Law Enforcement Center has an exterior door that is in need of a new ADA door operator (photo provided). At Service Center East the women's restroom had a ADA door that was removed so decision is to install a new ADA controller. B. The initial work for this contract is for 2 doors; one within each the Law Enforcement Center and Service Center East. Contractor to provide quote for the work for the 2 doors as a lump sum amount that will be combined for low bid award. Hourly rate details will be for informational use only and not considered in bid award. C. Contractor may be asked to provide additional electronic door hardware installation services for additional building doors by Contract Administrator on time and material basis based upon the hourly rate provided during the initial bid process. Contractor to provide hourly rate for normal business hours, overtime rate for hours outside normal business hours and material mark-up percentage. Contract Administrator may request proof of Contractor cost for all materials.
