The Project consists of construction of traffic signalization at the intersection of US 31 (Main St.) @ Williford Ct./Mary Ann Cir., including mast arm signal poles, radar detection, controller cabinet and foundation, pavement markings, pedestrian appurtenances (poles, signal heads, push buttons, and ADA ramps), concrete sidewalk, conduit, signal wiring and other related traffic signal appurtenances. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The Corradino Group, Inc., 7000 Executive Center Drive, Bldg 2 - Suite 250, Brentwood, TN 37027, Phone 615-372-6972. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the City of Spring Hill. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will NOT be held. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the contract price for the purpose of guaranteeing the bidder will enter into an acceptable contract. A contract performance and payment bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after bids have been opened. Bidding shall be in accordance with the Tennessee General Contractor's License Law. Bidders on construction over the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) must be licensed contractors as required by T.C.A. 62-6-103. Each bidder shall place his/her bid in an envelope showing the bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and license classification applying to the bid on the outside of the envelope in accordance with T.C.A. 62-6-119. Bids not conforming to this provision shall not be opened or considered.
