The project may be reimbursed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of Disaster Recovery from Hurricane Michael FEMA Project No. DR-4399. It is imperative that Respondents examine and become familiar with the Public Assistance Program established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Funding for the project may be made possible through this grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM) and FEMA. Respondents will comply with the Federal Regulations Contract Requirements shown at Exhibit 4. A third party consultant may be utilized to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection Services to ensure compliance with Federal Requirements. The Military Point Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (MPAWTF) sustained considerable damage as a result of Hurricane Michael. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors to remove existing blowers, furnish, install, test, and place in satisfactory operation new complete and automated blower system to provide aeration air for aeration basins at the MPAWTF located at 100 Lagoon Road, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL 32403. Work shall be performed in accordance with Exhibit 2 Carollo Engineers, Inc. Technical Specifications and P&ID. All bids will be available for inspection upon notice of award or 30 days after bid opening, whichever is earlier. No questions will be answered during the site visit.
