Renovation of a mixed-use development in Plano, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of May 2022, construction is underway. The City of Plano is soliciting proposals for Interurban Museum ADA Upgrades. Replacement System for City of Plano Municipal Center. The Scope of Work includes improvements to a historical building in Haggard Park in Downtown Plano. Improvements are primarily to improve handicap accessibility within the building which includes enlarging one restroom. The scope also includes replacing the wood flooring and adding storm drainage under the building. We are seeking contractors who are experienced in working with historical buildings and who are able to carefully remove materials for re-use and/or retrofit and create like materials to keep the historic feel and look of the building. The apparent low bidder will be required to furnish the original bid bond within 24 hours of the request by the Purchasing Department. Please submit your substitution request form and all information to Nancy Corwin at nancyc@plano.gov . She will confirm receipt of your request with an itemized list all files received. Question Cutoff Date February 2, 2022 @ 4 PM. Change Substitution Deadline to January 31, 2022 @ 5 PM.
