Renovation of an educational facility in Huntington Beach, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.
As of January 5, 2022, no contractor has been awarded. The Sower's Scope to be developed during the condition assessment and confirmed with the District during the Schematic Design Phase, may include, without limitation a two (2) phased project. The first phase will be constructed outside the footprint of the existing buildings on the Project Site and will include: (a) the reconstruction of a total of thirty (30) classrooms housed within five (5) new modular classroom buildings and a STEM classroom building; and (b) the reconstruction of additional support buildings including gymnasium and locker room buildings and an Administration building housing a student union and food services facilities. Once the first phase is completed and all buildings are operational, the second phase will commence and will include the demolition of all existing structures and necessary abatement. The second phase of the Project may also include (please refer to attached concept site plan) the construction of a bus yard (non-Measure Q work to be priced separately) to include: (1) bus parking; (2) equipment enclosure; (3) CMU wall, fencing and gates; (4) a new Lounge Building; and (5) new, modified or relocated site utilities as required to serve the Bus Yard and Lounge Building. Additionally, the project is expected to include related site work, including soils mitigation for all new structures, parking and drop-off facilities, exterior play courts, landscaping, security fencing, shade structures, and the relocation of an existing solar array (collectively, the "Project").
