Site work, paving, remodeling, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the addition of a 18,636-square-foot library; for the remodel of a 13,241-square-foot library; for the renovation of a library; for site work for a library; for paving for a library; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project is for the construction of an addition to and renovation of the existing library facility. The multi-level addition is 18,636 sf and the remodeling is 13,241 sf. Project includes site development with a parking areas, drives, landscaping and site work. The facility will be constructed with a concrete slab on grade floors, concrete foundations, precast plank and steel bar joist floor structures, steel structural frame, metal stud framing, masonry veneer, metal siding and membrane roofing over steel bar joist/decking. The project has phased construction completion dates in 2023. Any new project information will be shared via an Addendum No Bid will be accepted unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract The bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amount shall be required from the successful Bidder. Bidder is required to deliver the original bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Carter Arndt, 1230 South Boulevard, Baraboo, WI 53913. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. Bidders to whom award of a Contract is under consideration shall submit to Architect, upon request, a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualifications Statement. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 28, 2023 OWNER will tentatively award a contract by March 8, 2022. BIDDER agrees that the Work will be complete as follow: Phase 1 (addition & partial site work) Substantially Completion by May 10, 2023. Final Completion by September 14, 2023. Phase 2 (remodel & remaining site work) Substantially Completion by September 14, 2023. Final Completion by October 26, 2023.
