Question Cutoff Date 12/29/2021 10:00:00 PM (ET) The project consists of removal and replacement of four (4) air conditioning systems that included the air conditioning evaporator coil, drain lines, condensing unit, and line sets with all new items at the I-80 Jasper County Weigh Scale Building West Bound near Colfax, Iowa. The work includes the removal and disposal off site of the old system per the plans and specifications referenced in this proposal. On-site training will need to be conducted once installation is complete. We are seeking a Mechanical/ HVAC Contractor for these services. Project period: To begin upon award with completion on or before March 31, 2022 or as determined by the Project Manager. This includes punch list items and final inspection and acceptance by the Iowa DOT. Approved Brands Any manufacturers' names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. The Iowa DOT is tax exempt.
