Reference Number : 1551703 Review Title : Road marking maintenance services for reserved lanes for buses Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-12-28 Electronic submission accepted: No The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is a legal person established in the public interest under the Act respecting public transport companies (CQLR, chapter S 30.01). Its mission is to ensure the mobility of people on its territory by means of collective transport. In pursuit of this mission, the Société operates a public transit business, particularly by bus and metro. One of the objectives of the STM's Development Plan and of the Montreal Transport Plan is to increase ridership and public transport market shares, in particular, by improving the quality of services in order to provide efficient alternative to the solo car. Among other strategies, the STM wishes to improve customer satisfaction by implementing preferential bus measures (MPB) in order to reduce customer travel times on high-traffic arteries by 10 to 20%. As part of this call for tenders, the STM wishes to obtain bids for a contract for a period of thirty-six (36) months for roadway marking maintenance services for reserved bus lanes on the entire territory of Montreal.
