The Saline County Regional Airport Commission will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Windcone/Segmented Circle Relocation project at the Saline County Regional Airport. Project includes the Relocation of the Windcone and Segmented Circle as well as associated sitework. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required and shall be made payable to the Saline County Regional Airport Commission. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days. The Bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form. The proposed contract is NOT subject to the Buy American provision under Section 9129 of the Aviation Safety and Capacity Expansion Act of 1990. This project is excluded from coverage by either Federal Wage Rates or Arkansas Prevailing Wage Law. Per Arkansas Act 1068 of 2017, the Arkansas Prevailing Wage Law was repealed, and Work performed after the effective date of the Act (April 6, 2017) is no longer covered by the prevailing wage law. The Saline County Regional Airport Commission reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
