Project Description: Ge Johnson Construction Company Will Be Constructing the Alan J. Couch Center Renovations Which Includes Renovating and Addition to the Current Facility. This Will Be a Multi-phase Project as the Facility Will Remain Functional Throughout Construction. Currently, the 26-bed Juvenile Detention Center Focuses on Breaking the Recidivism Cycle of Girls and Boys Ages 11-17. The Plans Show a Combined Building Footprint of +/- 18,000 Square Feet, Which Includes Renovation and Addition to the Current Facility. Planned to Open in 2023, the Alan J. Couch Center Renovations Include Plans for New Master Control, 28 Beds, Classrooms, Kitchen, and Indoor and Outdoor Exercise Areas. The Renovations Will Provide the Enhancement of Security and Safety for Both the Teens and the Facility Staff. Notice to All Bidders: Please Be Advised That This Project Is Subject to the Rules Under the Venue of Oklahoma State Statute Title 61 (Section 580) for the Construction Management Contract Delivery Method (See Also House Bill No. 2889 and Senate Bill No. 1172). Due to the Nature of This Project, the Required Fabrication and Delivery of Critical Materials Shall Be Included in the Scope Summaries. Multiple Crews Working in All Areas of the Project May Be Required and Are to Be Reflected in Your Bids.
