The Department Will Not Hold Retention on This Project. Per Utah State Code A 13-8-5 (1) Prime Contractors Cannot Hold Retention. Refer to Utah Code A 13-8-5 (1) for More Information. Wage Rates: Apply Engineer's Estimate: Greater Than $6m but Less Than or Equal to $10m Mandatory Prequalification Required (Qualified Health Insurance Required) Project Location: US-191; SR-279 to Seven Mile Wash The principal items of work are as follows (for all items of work see attachment): SMA - 1/2 inch FSR-HMA-1/2 Inch In-Place Cold Recycled Asphaltic Base With Solventless Emulsion The project is to be completed: to be determined by competitive bid Each bidder must submit an electronic bid bond from an approved surety company using UDOT's Electronic Bid System (EBS); or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Utah Department of Transportation, showing evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contract time begins on first day of work or June 1st, 2022 whichever occurs first. 1. All work to be completed by the end of the 2022 Calendar year. 2. Do not start work prior to May 15 th, 2022.
