OPWDDs Capital District DDSO is looking to obtain bids for the loading dock upgrade at our facility located at 500 Balltown Rd, Schenectady, NY per the attached scopes of work. This project is regarding the replacement and repair of the loading dock and dock leveler. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner per scope of work. Work is to be completed within 90 days of the receipt of the dock leveler. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages to be paid and supporting documents for certified payroll must be submitted with invoice. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (the loading dock upgrade), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. If attending the site visit you must sign in at the Building 1 Security Desk. To be considered for this project, all bids must be submitted on bid form provided. REMINDERS: This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid.
