Reference number : 1550627 Review Title : Supply for resale of firewood - Parc national d'Oka Electronic submission accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Sépaq wishes to obtain quotes from suppliers interested in supplying bulk cords of firewood (hereafter referred to as Firewood) intended for resale to campers, for Parc national d'Oka. In order to simplify supply operations and facilitate transport within the Establishment, the Firewood must be offered strung inside the existing lumber yard. For the purposes hereof, a cord of Firewood is a stack of logs measuring one hundred and twenty centimeters (120 cm) in height by two hundred and forty centimeters (240 cm) in length. The Firewood shall be split into quarters of no more than fifteen centimeters (15 cm) by fifteen centimeters (15 cm) in width. The length of the quarters may vary between thirty and thirty-three centimeters (30 and 33 cm). Firewood must be hardwood from hardwoods only. No resinous species will be accepted. Poplars, Linden trees and other softwoods will only be accepted in small quantities never exceeding fifteen percent (15%) of the volume of Firewood delivered for each delivery. Firewood should be dry and contain a maximum of twenty percent (20%) moisture. Firewood must not come from areas regulated with regard to invasive species, including the emerald ash borer. Firewood must be delivered to the Park Community Center. The capacity of the premises is 20 cords. The Supplier must also provide a container-type shelter with cordwood for weekend overflows. Approximately 600 cords of Firewood are required per season. Sépaq reserves the right to revise the quantities required upwards or downwards. The contract period is two (2) years, beginning on 1 st May 2022 and ending on April 30, 2024. In general, the firewood will be provided between May and October .
