Install approximately 850 of 12 ductile iron watermain to replace an existing 4" water main along Washington Street. Replacement of all water services and curb stops is included in this contract as well as a number of lead services which will be replaced into the basement of those houses. Digital copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained online as a download for a nonrefundable fee of Forty-Nine Dollars ($49.00) from the portal under public projects. Any Bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with REV and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to have an authorized representative of their firm present at this meeting. It is each bidders responsibility to physically inspect and the familiarize themselves with the existing conditions when no snow is present. The project area was free of snow when the advertisement was published and potential bidders are encouraged to complete this inspection in a timely fashion. Any Bidder who submitted completed Bid Forms to the City of Hudson, upon returning such set is in good condition within thirty days following the award of the contract or rejection of the bids, will be refunded their full payment. Deposits will not be refunded to any non-bidder (including material suppliers, subcontractors, or those that provide quotes to Bidders).
