Scope of services: Kickoff Meeting The Consultant shall conduct a Project kickoff meeting with Project stakeholders. During this meeting, Project scope, schedule, personnel and overall expectations will be reviewed. Progress Meetings The Consultant will conduct once per month a meeting via conference call with City staff to provide monthly progress updates. The Consultant shall prepare a meeting agenda and minutes for each progress meeting via email. The City of Chula Vista ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare ("Project") area-wide retiming of 99 signalized intersections. The most qualified firm will be selected based on the desired qualifications/requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and overall evaluation during the selection process. All costs related to the scope of services as submitted or negotiated in this RFP shall be valid until contract award or execution of a purchase order. All questions, inquires, or concerns regarding the RFP shall be sent by email and addressed to: Jerard Madrigal Associate Engineer jmadrigal@chulavistaca.gov The City will accept written questions or concerns on the RFP through January 3, 2022. Responses to questions or concerns will be given and circulated after the said deadline within four (4) business days. Responses to verbal questions will not be provided. Responses to Written Questions January 7, 2022 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel in part or entirely this Request for Proposal, if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City shall not be obligated to contract all of the requested services to the retained Consultant. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
