Renovation of a mixed-use development in Breese, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.
Project description Project shall consist of demolition and new work associated with renovations of Science Labs including all associated flooring, ceiling, casework, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Project shall also include flooring replacement of corridor flooring abated by others under separate contract. Contract type Bids will be based on a lump sum construction contract. Bids shall include not less than the Prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. A plan holders/ bidders list will be available for viewing by visiting website. Sets will be mailed to applicants from Snow Printing for an additional flat handling-and-mailing charge of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per set, for which a separate check shall be issued, payable to Snow Printing. Charge is not refundable. Contractors may obtain up to two (2) copies of contract documents. The Performance Bond will become a part of the Contract. The failure of the successful bidder to enter into contract and supply the required bond and Certificates of Insurance within ten (10) days after the prescribed forms are presented for signature, or within such extended period as the Owner may grant, shall constitute a default. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in any bid, or to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
