**As of March 14, 2022, this project has been awarded to Fernandes Construction and the awarded amount is $351,543.37.** This project shall include, but not limited to, milling and paving of Hamilton Avenue, Emerson Avenue, Tuxedo Place, Holly Place and Woodland Avenue, Storm Drain Installation, miscellaneous concrete curbing and the construction of handicapped accessible ramps in various locations as detailed on the construction plans, located in the Borough of Spring Lake Heights, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Labor at the time bids are received pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 2003, c. 91, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51). Bidders are also required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue at the time bids are received pursuant to the Business Registration Act (P.L.2004, c.57, N.J.S.A.52:32-44). Bidders are required to comply with applicable statutory requirements set forth in the Contract Documents including the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. & N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1, et seq. (Affirmative Action); P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage); Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.); and P.L.2004, c.19 & P.L.2005, c.271 (Pay to Play). The Borough of Spring Lake Heights reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to reject any and all bids if it is determined they do not meet the intent of the specifications in the Contract Documents.
