As of May 7 2024 this project is in now into permits and has a Contractor. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The intent of the City is to select and contract with a civil engineering firm who responds to the RFQ and who is determined by the City to be most advantageous to perform design engineering, permitting, construction bid preparation and evaluation support, construction observation services, and grant reporting support services for the development and start-up operation of converting two neighborhoods off of Sheridan Road from individual septic systems to the City's sanitary sewer system. The two neighborhoods are the Ashley Manor neighborhood, with 46 homes to convert from septic to sewer, and the Dundee Circle and Manor Place neighborhood, with 60 homes to convert from septic to sewer. The City reserves the right to establish as many firms in the roster as it feels is in its best interest. Requests for additional information or clarification must be sent via e-mail to chanscom@westmelbourne.gov. No verbal requests will be honored. All requests for additional information or clarification must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday December 21, 2021.
