The City of Des Plaines, Illinois desires sealed bids for Purchase and Delivery of Fire Hydrant(S), Auxiliary Valve(S), and Accessories Per Specification. The Vendor shall deliver the Products to the City at the Delivery Address during the 2022 calendar year as needed ("Delivery Date"). Note: Not all 20 hydrants will be delivered at the same time-Generally orders consist of 4-8 hydrants. Without waiving any other remedies available to the City under this Contract or at law or in equity, if the Vendor delivers the Products to the City more than 10 days after the Delivery Date, then the total Contract Price shall be reduced by one percent for every seven-day period that elapses between the day after the Delivery Date and ending on the actual date that the Vendor delivers the Products to the City. The Product(s) must be delivered to the following address: City of Des Plaines Public Works Department 1111 Joseph Schwab Rd Des Plaines, IL 60016 Attn: Robert Greenfield The City reserves the right to make clarifications, corrections, or changes in this Contract before it is accepted by the City and the Vendor.
