Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. All lane closures shall be during the hours of 9:00 P.M to 5:00 A.M. and in one direction for one lane only. No Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. Contractor Experience Documentation: Expertise and Experience Is Required in the Performance of Overhead Signs. The Experience in Overhead Signs Form (850-070-03) Must Be Filled Out and Submitted to Be Reviewed by the Department. If a Contractor Is Presently Prequalified With the Department in Roadway Signs, It Is Not Necessary to Submit the Form. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
