The Whitfield County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for Bridge Rehabilitation for 5 locations. The project consists of the rehabilitation of 5 separate bridges. Bridge No. 1 is located on Beaverdale Road over Coahulla Creek, rehabilitation consists of bearing replacements, fiber wrap installation, joint replacement, and spall repairs. Bridge No. 2 is located on Dawnville Road over Coahulla Creek, rehabilitation consists of handrail repair, joint replacement concrete spall repair and erosion repair. Bridge No. 3 is located on Lower Dug Gap Road over Swamp Creek, rehabilitation consists of deck removal and overlay, shear stud installation and joint replacement. Bridge No. 4 is located on Old Tilton road over Swamp Creek, rehabilitation consists of bent cap repairs, joint replacement, pile encasement, bearing replacement and concrete spall repairs. Bridge No. 5 is located on Houston valley over East Chickamauga Creek, rehabilitation consists of fiber wrap installation, joint replacement, pile encasement, and concrete spall repairs.
