The project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,360 LF of 8 C900 DR 18 PVC Water Main along FM 107 and Church Street. Bids must be submitted on the complete project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to Charleen Dowell, Mayor, and the outside of the envelope must be marked BID ENCLOSED FM 107 8-INCH WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT. All bids must be made on blank unit price bid forms provided and included in the bound document. The name and address of the Bidder must be plainly marked thereon.. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. Bidding Documents are on file and may be examined at City of Moody, Texas located at 606 Avenue E, Moody, Texas 76557.Neither City of Moody, Texas nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than those issued through Civcast. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the City of Moody, Texas, appear to be in its best interest. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
