RFP Construction Manager - CM/CG for Spanish Fork Community Network (SFCN) Building Q & A deadline: Jan 12, 2022 7:00:00 PM EST The new SFCN Building will be located at the corner of 630 West Center Street. This site is undeveloped property next to the Justice Center.. Some of the property will need to be over excavated. The building is projected to be an administration building approximately 16,000 GSF and an attached shop building approximately 10,500 GSF with an additional storage mezzanine. The Administration component will provide office space for the SFCN customer service, IT and technicians. new parking and an access road to 630 west will be part of this project. Spanish Fork City anticipates using a CM/GC delivery method for this Project and expects to select the CM/GC at the completion of Schematic Design. Blalock and Partners has been retained as the project architect and has been tasked to assist the City in the selection of a CM/GC. It is anticipated that the CM/GC will provide multiple detailed construction estimates during the design phase, (1) at Schematic Design, (1) at Design Development, & (2-3) during Construction Documents leading to a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) (refer to the Anticipated Schedule). For the purposes of preparing Proposal documents, the City expects/anticipates that coordination meetings could be held weekly, biweekly or even monthly, depending on timing for different phases of the work. During the Design Phase, CM/GC firms should expect 10-12 meetings with the City and the Architect. Additionally, the CM/GC may be expected to participate in 5-6 additional coordination meetings with the Architect and the Architect's Consulting Engineers, as required, for a complete project understanding. These meetings will be in addition to all construction meetings, phone calls and email coordination as needed.
