There is an ABA wheelchair lift that doesnot function most of the time and is costly to repair. This project would replace the electric lift and provide continuous access to th e historic mansion by the parks visitors that require ABA access. The Ice House Museum does not meet ABA standards for access to the cooling room for park visitors to get out of the hot, humid weath er. The ABA ramp will replace entrance steps which will allow access to all park visitors.
