The scope of work consists of the installation and removal of pavement markings, markers and devices on roadways throughout the City of Austin. These devices include items such as reflective pavement markings (paint, epoxy, MMA, and/or thermoplastic), surface mounted channelizer posts, traffic buttons, reflectorized pavement markers (RPMs) as well as traffic signs. Work will include the placement of new pavement markings after street resurfacing activities and for maintenance of existing pavement markings. This scope also includes selected removal of existing paint or thermoplastic markings as identified. Locations will vary based on the City of Austin Street and Bridge Resurfacing schedule and the Austin Transportation Department's striping maintenance schedule. Work assignments associated with this contract will occur throughout the City of Austin.
