Site work for a water / sewer project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Halifax Water's Infrastructure Master Plan (IMP), prepared in January 2020, recommended a future connection between the Pockwock Transmission Main System (West/Central Regions) and the Lake Major Transmission Main System (East Region). The transmission main link identified as the Bedford to Burnside System Interconnection would provide emergency back-up supply/redundancy between the two systems. The transmission main link would be either 750mm or 900mm in diameter. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Tender and construction may be planned for late 2024/2025. *Budget is unreleased.
