Alpine School District is seeking a qualified vendor to construct (2) new softball dugouts, softball batting cage, and chain-link fence w/gates constructed per plans and specifications. This Request for Proposals ("RFP"), having been determined to be the appropriate procurement method to provide the best value to the Conducting Procurement Unit, is designed to provide interested Offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals. This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is issued in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code and applicable administrative rules of the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this RFP conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or Utah Administrative Code, then the Utah Procurement Code or Utah Administrative Code will take precedence. It is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Offerors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability The contract resulting from this RFP will be for the duration of this project. Refer to the attached plans and specifications for a complete scope of work. Two (2) new softball dugouts with storage to be constructed as shown on attached plans and specifications. Primary building material is concrete (footings, walls, roof). All surrounding site work and/or landscape repair shall be included as part of the scope of work. New softball batting cage to be constructed per plans and specifications. Bases of design is BTTSS - Softball Single Tension Batting Tunnel by Sportsfield specialties or approved equal. All substitution requests shall be approved prior to bid. New 6ft tall galvanized chain-link fencing with gates. Fence shall include a concrete mow strip at dimensions shown on plans. A custom school logo in-lay will be bid as an alternate to be cast into the walls of the new dugouts. See plans.
