10-19000 Total Estimated Construction Budget (CCL + Allowances) for CSP# CS 206881 $15,678,834.80 The Dallas Independent School Districts Construction Services projects have a 30% Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) construction goal. ORG 178 - Holland Lisbon Elementary School at Lisbon - Project consists of the following: An aggressive renovation of the existing facility and significant expansions. Building Additions are inclusive of but not limited to a classroom addition / storm shelter, administration addition, kitchen addition 1. Construction of a 15,000-sf classroom addition / storm shelter 2. Renovation of an existing elementary school including classrooms, hallways, stairs, elevators, and entries 3. Removal of existing construction for this renovation 4. Removal of the existing roof for the new roof 5. Below grade drainage, waterproofing and backfill 6. Expansion of the Kitchen and associated loading dock 7. New Learning Commons Room 8. Elevator addition 9. New public, secure, main entry 10. Site improvements and security 11. Expansion joint interface with the existing construction from foundation to the roof 12. Window replacement Alternates are as follows, and affected bidders are requested to provide pricing for all alternates containing their scope(s) of work: 1. Remove/replace standing seam metal roofing 2. Area B classroom renovations, rooms 155-160, 164, and 166 (floor finishes, acoustical ceiling tile, teaching surfaces, painting, light fixtures/controls 3. (3A) Gymnasium interior scope (support space configuration, remove and replace flooring with fluid-applied athletic flooring, acoustical treatments, replace goals/supports, new wall/floor finishes at restroom, new water cooler 4. (3B) New wood gym floor system in lieu of specified fluid-applied athletic flooring 5. (4) Remove/replace paving, curbs, gutters, inlets etc. along Lancaster as indicated 6. (5A) Remove/replace carpet at Auditorium 7. (5B) Repaint walls/ceiling and remove/replace blinds with dual roller shades in Auditorium 8. (6) Relocate existing playground to new location shown including new play area boundary, surface, and shade structure as noted on the Landscape drawings 9. (7) New domestic water line from manifold to all potable water supplies throughout exisitng building. Provide backflow preventer within new line at manifold Unit prices are required for piers, sidewalks, curb/gutter, acoustical ceiling grid/tile systems, resilient tile flooring, tile carpeting, resilient base, asbestos removal of 12x12 and 9x9 floor tile/mastic, asbestos removal of pipe insulation mastic, and locker infill. Affected bidders are requested to provide pricing for all unit prices containing their scope(s) of work. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of 9-8-2022. Note from Sedalco Construction: **Notice regarding bid ALTERNATES** Alternates 2, 3a, 3b, and 4 ARE NOT DEFINED WELL ON THE DRAWINGS, and the work in these alternates could easily be accidentally included as base bid work. Please reference the alternate listing provided in Addendum 1 as well as updates made to section 00 4112 per Addendum 2 for a complete understanding of Alternates 2, 3a, and 3b. Alternate 2 affects demo, drywall/acoustical, flooring, painting, visual display units, fire sprinkler (adjustments), and electrical. Alternates 3a and 3b affect demo, drywall/acoustical, ceramic tile, flooring, gymnasium equipment, electrical, and intrusion detection scopes of work. The only difference in these alternates is the type of gym flooring (fluid applied vs. wood). Alternate 4 affects approximately 11,000 SF of paving that is shown to remain on sheet C-127. This alternate would replace the paving and affects demo, concrete, and pavement marking scopes of work.
