Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
City Commission Chambers for the 2022 Milton Park Walking Path Renovation Project. The City of St. Joseph reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding and/or to accept the bid or bids should it consider same to be in its best interest. Milton Park is located at 1524 Niles Ave., at the corner of Niles Ave. and Winchester Ave. See attached exhibit 1 for layout of the park and areas included in the project. o Removal and replacement of paving as specified: Remove or mill existing asphalt pavement, replace and repair base material as needed, compact base material, frame and pour new path with "perk Epave" porous recreational paving per manufacture's specifications (see www.perkepave .com and exhibits 2 and 3). o All tree roots impeding upon base material must be removed or ground out to a minimum of 6 inches on both sides ofthe future path. o Base material shall be 21AA. Millings from removal of existing asphalt may also be used. o Base must be a minimum of 3 inches after compaction. Base density test may be required. o New paving material must be a minimum of 1.5 inches in thickness. o Work on this project must be performed during the days and times approved by the City of St. Joseph. o All work on this project must be completed by June 15,2022.
