Underutilized Business Enterprise participation goals are MUBE 0% and WUBE 7%. Each bidder must show evidence that they are licensed under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. A General Contractors License is required. Before bidding, each bidder should show the City bond form to its bonding company to be sure it can promptly issue the bond on that form in the event the contract is awarded to it. Each bond must be for 100% of the contract amount and must be executed by a NC-licensed surety. The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the City.
