The City is seeking to replace unitary surfacing in two playground areas at Westover Park.The responsible department will be Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR).This work includes the removal and proper offsite disposal of the existing unitary playground surface, and furnishing and installing new unitary safety surface, over the existing sub-base.Unitary safety surface shall consist of a material which will create a unitary playground safety surface. Surface shall provide a resilient unitary surface installed over base. The surface shall be stable and slip resistant to comply with all requirements set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act and ASTM F1951. It shall also meet ASTM F1292, ASTM F2223, and the appropriate ASTM standard for the type of unitary surface quoted. There will be no pre-bid meeting.
