**As of March 1, 2022 this project has been awarded to L&M Contractors for $586,803.60** Scope of Work: This Contract is for all Sitework excluding paving of track, track surfacing, and track specialties which are being bid under a separate Contract (Contract 2). This project includes full depth excavation and removal of the existing track and base materials and replacement with new underdrains and select base courses. This project also includes but is not limited to replacement of the existing drainage components adjacent to the track, upgrades to the maintenance driveway, removal and replacement of the fence and gates surrounding the track and football field area, reconstruction of the triple and long jump area, relocation of the shot put area, restoration of vegetation on field and adjacent areas, erosion controls, and retaining wall construction. Under this Contract the contractor will be responsible for bringing select materials to proper grade and rough grading the track, triple and long jump area, and driveway in preparation for Contract 2 (Paving and Surfacing). However, the contractor shall make available personnel to be present during paving operations to deliver additional materials for fine grading and for verification that there is no conflict with their work. Even though the track paving and resurfacing is under a separate Contract, the Contractor must communicate all work with the parties involved with Contract 2 (Paving and Surfacing) in order to make sure there is no conflict in schedule or the work
