Site work for a mixed-use development in Union, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of replacing an existing boat ramp on Seven Tree Pond with a new 20' wide boat ramp consisting of precast concrete panels, curb and riprap protection at Ayer Park on Depot Street in Union, Maine. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bid Documents is Landmark Corporation Surveyors Engineers, 135 Rockland Street, Rockport, ME 04856, telephone 207-236-6757, contact Joel Lufkin, email lufkin@landmarkmaine.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bid Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The Town of Union reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the Town to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
