As of February 11, 2022, the project should be awarded later this month. This project includes construction of approximately 820 linear feet of 48" sewer line, 155 linear feet of 48" sewer line by bore with 66" steel casing, 7,881 linear feet of 54" sewer line, 2,228 linear feet of 66" sewer line, 460 linear feet of 66" sewer line with 84" steel casing installed by open cut, tee base manholes, connections to existing sewer lines, erosion and sedimentation control, dewatering, and associated site restoration and improvements. The project also includes installation of 11,765 linear feet of 4" PVC conduit, 1.66" HDPE innerduct, and fiber optic cable. Lastly, the project also includes the installation of approximately 7,140 linear feet of 5-strand barbed wire fencing. substantially complete and ready for operation within 480 consecutive calendar days, Final Completion of the project shall be achieved within 60 days of the Substantial Completion date. All questions must be submitted in writing, posted to electronically, by end of day Monday, January 10, 2022 Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the District "OWNER" within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to North Texas Municipal Water District "OWNER" in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. CONTRACTOR must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. CONTRACTORS for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the District "OWNER" and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. The North Texas Municipal Water District "OWNER" reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days from date on which bids are opened.
