The Project includes OR is generally described as all work, parts and labor required for the installation of piping, valves, appurtenances, and other mechanical and structural items to prepare the plant for the future addition of the TES system without requiring an additional CHW shutdown, as further described in the Scope Memo and identified drawing sheets MP121, MP122, M-321, M-601, M-701, M702, M-704. Develop and implement a shutdown plan that maintains flow of campus chilled water during the work described herein. Bidders participating in the meeting and subsequent examination of the site shall meet with Owner's Representative at the south entrance to the Design & Construction office located in building 130 on the main campus of the University of Oregon for that purpose. Attendance will be recorded by the Owner's Representative. Prime bidders who arrive more than 5 minutes after start of time of the meeting (as stated in the solicitation and by the Owner's Representative's watch) will not be permitted to submit a bid on the Project. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to UO Retainer Contracting Opportunity (01/16) 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided.
