Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Sandusky, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 5,580-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Sanilac County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for architectural and engineering services to assist with the design of a proposed 62 x 90 Animal Control Facility. Sanilac County is seeking a firm with the ability to provide both architectural and engineering services. The project would be completed in two phases, with phase 1 being the architectural drawing, and upon approval by the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, phase 2 would encompass engineering services. This project will require direct interaction with the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, Chief Animal Control Officer and the Administrator/Controller. There are many specific requirements that will require careful planning to ensure compliance with the Department of Agriculture. The County reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of any bid submitted. Therefore, the bid submitted initially should be the most favorable terms which the Bidder can propose. There will be no best and final offer procedure. The County does reserve the right to contact a bidder for clarification of the bid. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
