Site work and paving for a road / highway in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of regular excavation, grading, and asphalt paving to construct a 800 LF12' wide asphalt concrete multiuse trail. Prevailing wages in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act are required on this contract. The time of completion for this work shall be one hundred and eighty 100 consecutive calendar days Submit your bid with proposal guaranty (bid bond, certified check, or cash escrow) equal to at least 5% of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding. The successful Contractor shall be required to provide performance and labor & materialman's bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to perform the Work of the Project as defined by the Contract Documents which consists of the following: The project consists of traffic control, regular excavation, grading, minor drainage work, and asphalt paving to construct a 10' wide asphalt concrete multiuse trail. Work is detailed in plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer's Office and included in and referenced by the Notice to Bidders and Special Provisions.
