Volusia County is seeking the services of a State of Florida Certified General Contractor to provide permitting, labor, materials, and construction services to expand and construct a new Bunk room addition at Fire Station 34 in Deltona, FL. 1700 Enterprise Osteen Rd. The project involves the addition of approximately 1,144 square feet to the existing fire station. The key components of the project include the construction of new restrooms, four sleeping quarters, Gym, EMS, HVAC, HW heater, storage and the implementation of a new R13 fire suppression system and fire line. Project includes addition and remodel to Fire Station 34-Indian Mound. The renovation will update the interior of the fire station to comply with current standards for gender privacy and building codes. Renovation to the existing building includes increasing the footprint to gain square footage for the fire station. Improvements to the building through this renovation will include upgrades to the electrical, plumbing, roof, and windows. This station was not built for 24/7 occupancy when originally constructed.
