The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Garage Roof and Truss Replacement at our Culver Rd. IRA.Remove the existing asphalt shingle roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order.Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayment's, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system.Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical.Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical.Flash all penetrations, typical.Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical.No asbestos-containing materials may be used. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification to the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the FLDDSO Business Office to all vendors. Vendors are to prepare and submit their bids based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing. Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to Fl.Procurement@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Vendors will receive a response within 2 business days after the deadline for submitting questions. All questions and answers will be emailed to all vendors that attended the mandatory site visit. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award Final Date for Receipt of Questions: January 6, 2022 Official Responses to Questions by: January 8, 2022 2) Reject any or all proposals received in response to the IFB/RFP. (Roof Replacement Project.) The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured.
