As of November 2, 2023, this project has been completed. A detailed scope has not yet been released. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Sevierville, Tennessee (herein called the "Owner") invites Qualifications from interested Engineering Firms (herein called "Firm") for design of Three (3) Metal Storage Buildings at the City of Sevierville Public Works, 310 Robert Henderson Road, Sevierville, Tennessee. A. Project includes design of three insulated metal structures to store equipment located at the Sevierville Public Works facility. The successful proposal will include specifications and design for each of the buildings after meeting with city officials. Two of the structures will be approximately 10,000 total square feet each and have (14-feet high x 16-feet wide) electric roll-up doors located at each and standard access doors. A 6-inch drain line must be installed in the center of the structure with appropriate number of drains and stubbed out from under the concrete floor. Floor loading will be determined by geo-technical engineers. All lighting will be overhead LEDs and the shade of light shall be daylight. Heating shall be elevated gas furnaces with the ability to maintain a minimum of 40 F. The buildings will be equipped with a restroom. One of the buildings will have an office with HVAC. The third building will be an open-air metal building, approximately 75' x 125' with overhead LEDs and electrical connections throughout. B. Work with and in conjunction with City Staff ensure that the design and placement of the Metal Storage Buildings follow all Building and Code Requirements and meets the satisfaction of the owner. C. Provide on- site inspections of construction process. This contract is for the design of three metal storage buildings.
