BOROUGH OF HAWORTH NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be received by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Haworth in the Office of the Borough Clerk/Administrator in the Municipal Building, 300 Haworth Avenue, Haworth, New Jersey, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for THE BOROUGH OF HAWORTH WINTER TREE PROGRAM FOR 2022. MORE PARTICULARLY, THE BOROUGH SEEKS BIDS FOR THE COST OF REMOVING VARIOUS SPECIES OF TREES AND STUMPS AND PRUNING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH. Specifications for the project may be secured by prospective bidders at the Office of the Borough Clerk/Administrator between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday inclusive. Bid specifications can also be obtained on the Borough's website, www.haworthnj.org, under the Government link on the home page. Each proposal must be placed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Borough Clerk/Administrator, Municipal Building, 300 Haworth Avenue, Haworth, New Jersey with the name and address of the bidder and the words "SEALED BID FOR THE BOROUGH OF HAWORTH WINTER TREE PROGRAM FOR 2022" printed thereon. Bid proposals may be delivered by mail or in person to the Office of the Borough Clerk/Administrator, Municipal Building, 300 Haworth Avenue, Haworth, New Jersey during regular business hours before the date and time specified for receiving bids. All such bid proposals will be accepted at the sole risk of the bidder. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any cause whatsoever. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 and Affirmative Action and Executive Order 11246 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.
