Bridge Replacement - Bridge Street over Spicket River (NHDOT Bridge No. 115/097) .This work includes the replacement of the existing 25-foot long bridge with a 50-foot clear span cast-in-place concrete arched rigid frame and wingwalls with stone facing that carries Bridge Street over Spicket River in the Town of Salem, New Hampshire. Work also includes 610-feet of associated approach roadway work. Complete Bidding Documents may be examined and obtained, in electronic format, on or after December 16, 2021 at the at the office of Purchasing Agent, Salem Town Hall, 33 Geremonty Drive, Salem, New Hampshire, 03079. Each bid must be accompanied by BID SECURITY, payable to the Town of Salem, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, which BID SECURITY must be in a form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Construction Performance Bond, 100 percent Construction Payment Bond and a $75,000.00 Warranty Bond. Each bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form supplied by the Town of Salem in a sealed envelope clearly identified with the Bidder's name and address marked. The Schedule of Prices section of the Proposal Form shall be completed showing the Unit Price and Total Price for each item, and a Grand Total for all items. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technical or legal deficiencies that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. Substantial contract completion date shall be May 31, 2023. Contract Final Completion date shall be June 28, 2023. Project is subject to Town appropriation of funding in March 2022.
