NOTICE TO BIDDERS HUDSON STREET (WATER & KENNEDY STREETS) STORMWATER CONVEYANCE IMPROVEMENTS CITY OF HACKENSACK, COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY FILE No.: SCE-R07448.C14 No Bids will be accepted after said hour. The work will include but is not limited to, the cleaning and televising of approximately nine thousand seven hundred and twelve linear feet (9,712 LF) of stormwater piping and drainage structures within the Hudson Street and Kennedy Street, in addition to temporary traffic control, coordination of uniformed police traffic, disposal of removed materials and surface restorations. Pipe diameters may range in size from 6 inches to 42 inches, and box culvert of various dimensions. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and obtain all access permits required to occupy Rights-Of-Way, in addition to access coordination with property owners before and after required activities. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this Project as described in the Construction Documents. In submitting this request, you will be registered for this Bid, only Registered Bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid. Access to the Zoom meeting for Bid opening will be provided on the City of Hackensack website (ZOOM Link on http://www. hackensack.org/) and provided to Registered Bidders. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained electronically between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays beginning on Wednesday December 15, 2021 upon written request to the contacts listed above. Contract Documents are only available in digital format via email. There is no cost to obtain the Contract Documents. Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which SHALL be submitted in Triplicate, One Stamped Original, and Two Stamped Copies. The Successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders to submit their Bid packages via mail delivery through the United States Postal Service or In-Person hand delivery (Face Masks are Mandatory if delivering In-Person) to the following address.: City of Hackensack Clerk's Office 65 Central Avenue, 3rd Floor Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 The submitted Bid packages shall be complete with the Bid description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes and received by mail or hand delivered in person to the City Clerk's office located on the 3rd Floor, 65 Central Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 by Thursday, January 13, 2021, at 10:00am. The envelope must also identify the Bid as Hudson Street (Water & Kennedy Streets) Stormwater Conveyance Improvements. FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY AND SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES SHALL BE IN EFFECT DURING THE DELIVERY OF THE BID. The City of Hackensack reserves the right to consider Bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept Bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City of Hackensack to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
