Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the Mount Olive Board of Education for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and other facilities necessary for, or incidental to, the Re-Bid of the Scoreboard Conduit and Wiring at the Mount Olive High School, 18 Corey Road, Flanders, New Jersey NJ 07836, per the Project specifications. The Project will be awarded as a single overall contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18. Checks shall be made payable to Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers and Planners. Interested bidders must contact the Architect for additional information. There will be no pre-bid meeting on this Re-Bid. However, Bidders may wish to familiarize themselves with the Project Site prior to submitting a bid, if necessary. The failure of the Bidder to visit the Site is at Bidder's own risk. Proper safety precautions and social distancing must be observed. Interested Bidders should contact the Architect or Gail Libby, Business Administrator, at the above telephone number(s) to discuss the project or arrange site access. All other aspects of the bidding documents from the original bid are incorporated by reference. Bids may be sent to the attention of Gail Libby, Business Administrator, at the Board of Education office address listed above; however, no bid will be considered, regardless of the postmark, unless it is received in the Business Administrator's office prior to the time set for the opening of the bids. Bids may also be delivered in person to the Business Administrator between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on official business days. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to submit a Bid for the Project, Bidders, and/or a Bidders' subcontractor, if applicable, shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction C047 (Electrical) with not less than five (5) years of experience. In addition, the bidder, or bidder's subcontractors, must comply with the identification and classification requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, to the extent the services of a prime trade-classified contractor or subcontractor are required on the project, per the specifications. The anticipated date for project completion will be May 15, 2022. Additional milestone dates per the Contract Documents. The Mount Olive Board of Education reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in accordance with, to waive any non-material informality in the bids, and to award the bid to a responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for the opening of the bids, as set forth above.
